A forgotten Porsche Carrera was left to decay in a yard unless it was given a second chance, thanks to a dedicated car enthusiast.

The incredible restoration turned this once-abandoned 718 Carrera into the supercar it was always meant to be.

The transformation, completed by Johnny – a Porsche enthusiast from Korea – took just seven days.

When Johnny found the car, it was in terrible shape, but the end result was quite surprising – completely changing the car’s appearance and performance.

Porsche Carrera given a second chance

Initially, the car was dusty and rusty, covered with a fishing net.

The front bumper was barely hanging on, and the hood was full of dead leaves.

However, despite the rough conditions, Johnny saw the potential in the old Carrera and decided to buy it from its owner, who had been traveling abroad.

After purchasing it, Johnny took the car back to the Porsche dealership where he worked and got to work on bringing it back to life.

The restoration process involved stripping out the entire interior and replacing it with custom red leather, giving the car a fresh, luxurious feel.

The car is back to its original beauty

On the outside, the Carrera was cleaned up and wrapped in a grey film, with a Porsche GT4 body kit added to give it a sportier, more muscular look.

The white exterior, paired with the bold black and red interior, gave the car a striking new appearance.

Aside from its aesthetic upgrades, Johnny also added a new stereo system and Porsche-branded leather armrest.

Social media users were blown away by the transformation, praising the craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The Porsche Carrera, originally released in 1963, is known for its power and beautiful looks.

Thanks to Johnny’s hard work, this forgotten Carrera is now back on the road, restored to the supercar status it was always meant to have.
