Cybertruck's 'carrot test' goes viral as flaw pointed out

With Cybertruck owners quite literally getting the thumbs down for their new purchase, the response to the hotly-anticipated new pickup has been mixed.

Texts are being sent out to the long list of ‘reservation holders’ urging them to come check out the pickup in the flesh – as many haven’t.

And one viral video by TikToker, Antonio Chianese, has pointed out a serious hazard concerning the beasts of the road’s trunk hood.

You can see Cybertruck versus carrot in the unbelievable video below:

The clip shows someone holding a carrot where the trunk hood of the car meets the body of the vehicle.

Its sharp edges cut through the orange veggie – meant to represent an unsuspecting finger – like butter.

Seems the Cybertruck’s design could result in someone being badly injured.

“How did this thing ever get approval?” one person asked.

However others argued that “any auto closer will do the same thing – try it.”
