This Californian man hunts down abandoned cars on Google Earth and he’s just found an ’80s dumping ground with a lineup of rare cars.

The car enthusiast, who keeps themselves anonymous, spends a lot of time finding abandoned cars in remote areas and has found more than 4,000 vehicles across America.

He even uses a drone to find abandoned cars in hard-to-reach areas.

Describing themselves as an ‘abandoned car explorer,’ this TikToker has gained an impressive following of people equally excited by the search for abandoned cars.

Finding things on Google Earth is not as easy as it seems, as most of the time the images aren’t super clear.

However, TikToker ‘desertadventures_’ managed to find a spot with multiple abandoned cars that appear to have been dumped in the 80s.

One of the cars in the video was a rare 1970-72 Chevy Nova.

Unfortunately, the car was barely recognizable after years of neglect.

In total, he found the remains of five different vehicles dumped at the one spot.

Incredibly, he has also found a whole vintage car graveyard on Google Earth using his drone.

Most of these places are very hard to reach, so they weren’t easy to find.

That’s part of the reason why they’ve gone unnoticed for so long.

Fortunately, whenever the TikToker finds these abandoned cars, he reports them to the authorities.

And this has actually led to some mysteries being solved.

Whenever he locates vehicles with identifiable information, like a readable license plate, he reports them, sometimes helping to locate missing people.

What remains of the cars?

He’s not the only one using Google Earth to find abandoned cars across the States.

One Reddit user also found an abandoned DeLorean on Google Maps in West Virginia.
