Argentine Presidential B757 performs breathtaking low-flying stunt during landing

An Argentine Presidential B757 just pulled off a truly wild stunt whilst landing.

The VVIP plane had been kitted out to serve the Argentinian president.

But its delivery to Buenos Aires nearly ended in catastrophe.

The Boeing managed to recover from the dangerous landing, but many have expressed outrage at the viral footage.

Heads of state need specially designed private planes to transport them around the world.

These are not your regular private jets, featuring top-notch security, unmatched communication abilities and luxurious comfort.

The US president, for example, flies in Air Force One, which is essentially a flying White House.

The Argentinian president just added a Boeing 757 to his fleet, which has custom livery in the colors of the national flag.

Pilots picked up the Presidential B757, called ‘ARG 01’, from Miami after its VVIP configurations were complete.

It’s now able to seat 39 passengers and boasts a main suite alongside two other private bedrooms.

Upon delivering it to Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires, the pilots treated airport visitors to a hair-raising show.

Onlookers saw the plane approach the runway at an unusually low altitude.

It then performed a sharp left turn and headed back up to the sky.

The plane circled back and completed a successful, much less terrifying landing.

Some reports state that there was a miscommunication as to whether they were permitted to land on that runway or not, prompting the pilots to pull away at the last minute.

But the pilots released a statement that claimed they did it on purpose.

“The mentioned pass was authorized by air traffic control, as it is a customary maneuver performed when a new aircraft arrives or when a commander retires,” the statement said.

After the footage went viral many were furious with the breach of safety protocols shown by the pilots.

“Dangerous, irresponsible, unnecessary maneuver. What if it went wrong?” one commenter said.

But others were just impressed.

“This is so stupid and reckless. I love it,” another commenter said.
