This is the new Audi RS e-tron GT Performance, and it is arguably one of the most important cars in the history of the brand.

Loosely related to the Porsche Taycan, its electric powertrain puts out 925PS.

It is one of the most powerful sedans in the world.

But more importantly, it is the most powerful production car Audi has ever made.

Porsche Taycan’s brother from a different mother

The RS e-tron GT Performance is built on the same platform as Taycan, and it uses the same ‘engine’, and it shows.

The proportions are similar, and the same goes for the Audi’s performance figures.

The GT Performance puts out 925PS, equivalent to 912HP.

It can go from zero to 62mph in just two and a half seconds, which is two-tenths of a second slower than the 1,019-hp Porche Taycan Turbo GT.

Just like the rest of the 2025 E-Tron lineup, the GT Performance also gets an upgrade to its battery pack with a 105kWh battery.

With this much power, the EV car has a range of 609km (378 miles).

Audi RS GT Performance is a flagship product

The new RS GT Performance also automatically becomes a bit of a flagship product for the e-tron line-up.

It started out as a brand that Audi used to launch new concept cars, such as the e-tron Spyder, but it now characterizes every high-performance EV model that Audi makes.

The electric version of the Avant A6, for example, is also an e-tron model.

Audi and Porsche are both part of the VW family, but they technically occupy slightly different segments.

This explains why the Audi is a bit less expensive than the Porsche.

But, let’s not get this wrong, this is still a six-figure car.
