This incredible drone camera is a truly impressive bit of kit – boasting crystal-clear footage, solid flight times, and a sharp minimalist look.

The DJI Inspire 3 is a professional 8K camera latched onto a super futuristic-looking drone – and who doesn’t want one of those?

Drones are increasingly being used to capture amazing and otherwise impossible-to-shoot footage, such as these cool aerial shots of the progress and scale of the $1 trillion giga-project ‘The Line’ in Saudi Arabia.

How much will the drone camera set you back?

While a common enough sight on movie sets and when filming TV shows, drone camera technology is now becoming more popular with amateur filmmakers and hobbyists.

However, excellence comes at a price and if you fancied getting your hands on a DJI Inspire 3, you’d need to part with $16,499.

But for that price, you get a lot of bang for your buck – firstly, take a look at its swish design and how it looks when it’s flying in the air.

The DJI Inspire 3 not only looks cool but its ‘industrial design’ was created with aerodynamics in mind – this means it has lower wind resistance, which – in turn – boosts its performance when it comes to flying.

The first-person view (FPV) camera, visual sensors, positioning antennas, and storage card slot are all designed to neatly sit integrated into the airframe, adding to the sleek aesthetic.

How fast does it move?

It can move at up to 10 meters per second and has an ascend/descend speed of 8 meters per second.

It can also fly for up to 28 minutes on a single charge.

The drone comes complete with Waypoint Pro, which enables flight-route and shot planning with a bunch of customizable settings. It can also be programmed to fly on the exact same route – with all the same parameters, such as altitude, speed, gimbal angle, and camera settings – to capture tricky one take or create long-duration time-lapses.

“At the peak of aerial cinematography, DJI Inspire 3 offers unprecedented workflow efficiency, camera language, and creative freedom,” the company says

“This all-in-one 8K camera drone empowers professional-level filmmakers to fully maximize the potential of any shot and master the unseen.”

Clever stuff.
