A Tesla Cybertruck door only opens a certain type of way, as streamer Adin Ross found out.

The system seems simple at first, but it’s actually a bit finicky.

Ross couldn’t open it, two guys from his team couldn’t open it.

In the end, it took over a minute to find somebody who knew how to do it.

The reason why Tesla Cybertruck doors are a bit complicated

In theory, you open the Tesla Cybertruck door by tapping your key card first, and then you have to push a button that’s located right above the door.

In practice, Adin Ross tried about 10 times and failed because the key would never work.

The problem, it seems, was he kept tapping the card in the wrong place on the side of the truck.

To be fair, it would’ve probably been easier to simply make the car work the way other cars with flush doors work.

Usually, they work one of two ways.

Either you approach the car with the key in your pocket and the door handle automatically appears, or you get close to the car and it appears when you move your hand closer to the door handle.

Then again there aren’t that many things that are normal about the Cybertruck, so we’re not surprised.

Adin Ross loves spending money

Streamer and content creator Adin Ross regularly goes on shopping sprees where he spends big on himself and his team.

He once bought a Lamborghini for a member of his team and, on another occasion, he spent an inordinate amount of money buying watches for his family and friends.

Things don’t always go smoothly, though.

He once bought a Rolls-Royce that he tried selling to another famous ‘Ross’, rapper Rick Ross.
