This transforming boat has a deck that extends down under the water

This Evo boat has an extendable platform that you can turn into the ultimate beach deck. 

Like something out of Transformers, the R4XT deck can even extend down to sit under the water’s surface. 

Evo says the beach area of its R4XT can extend up to a meter in length and two meters in width.

There are three options for the stern platform; lifted, under the water line and at the water line. 

Lifted

Not only does the lifted deck make it easier to get on and off, but it also looks incredible.

Here you can set a large sunbed and dining table that can be turned into a bar.

Underwater

The second, and arguably coolest option, is to lower the deck beneath the water. 

Designed by Valerio Rivellini, the platform can drop 30 inches below the surface of the water. 

There are two major benefits to this.

First, it supports tender hauling, and second, it creates an oasis of relaxation where you can suntan with half your body submerged in the water.

The third option, is to extend the deck out at water line, providing a longer and larger beach area for the guests on board.

Below the deck, the company says you can customize the boat however you like. 

The dining and relaxation areas at the bow are lined with sofas and have a large dinette that can be converted into a double berth or open space. 

The Evo R4XT also has a generously-sized sleeping cabin. 

Evo boat power 

The yacht can reach speeds of 38 knots. 

It’s powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines that can each produce 353 horsepower. 

Measuring 13 meters, and 14 with the deck extended, it can accommodate up to 12 guests. 

The Evo R4XT comes in a ‘sports and leisure’ version or a ‘walkaround’ version which allows for the more comfortable upper deck experience. 

Both come with the same engine.
