This Farmer has ditched the expensive machinery and opted to use a Ford F-250 pickup truck for plowing instead of a tractor.

The Ford F-250 is an extraordinary off-road vehicle.

But one farmer has gone as far as to leave roads entirely with his F-250, employing it as a field worker instead.

And somehow, it works a treat.

Ford F-250 replaces a tractor

Given that tractors can be expensive machinery – some selling for prices similar to a Lamborghini – why not look at alternatives?

Many farmers have already begun using powerful cars to do some dirty work, such as the Cybertruck.

But YouTube account ‘bigtractorpower‘ has now captured a Ford F-250 plowing land ahead of a harvest haul.

In a viral Shorts video that now has over six million views, the YouTube farmer attached a plowing machine to the back of the Ford F-250 and filmed it cutting up the ground.

It appears that the trend is catching on too, as commenters are thinking about doing the same.

“And this tractor has a sound that’s more gentle on the ears, love how quiet it’s doing it,” one person said.

Another added: “This why it’s called a farm truck. God bless America. Henry Ford should be proud.”

A third admirer added: “These are still of the best Fords around. Love the front ends of them.”

These pickups that helped carve America are truly cherished.

One 2006 Ford F-250 owner held a party for their beloved truck after it hit 1,000,000 miles, and it gathered a good attendance.

Even though tractors are getting ever more advanced, America will never phase out the good, old, reliable Ford F-250.
