This Ferrari F40 was given the Hollywood treatment in a short, very expensive-looking unboxing video by this creator.

The rare and majestic sleek black Ferrari F40 was met by the Ferrari of cameras, the Sony FX3, and even though the video is not even three minutes long, it’s just dripping with class and luxury.

The F40 was filmed next to a gorgeous Italian classic Alfa Romeo, which shows the owner’s allegiance to classic Italian supercar brands.

The video gives us a cinematic view of the supercar, personally approved by Enzo Ferrari for the automaker’s 40th anniversary—it was at the time Ferrari’s fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car, and it certainly shows.

And the Oscar goes to… this Ferrari F40 unboxing video

At Supercar Blondie, we are no strangers to an unboxing video, in fact they’re kind of our bread and butter.

This particular Ferrari F40 unboxing video has blown our minds, though, as we’ve never seen a supercar displayed this cinematically before.

The YouTube channel The Glass Eye posted an unboxing video of a rare black Ferrari F40, most of the supercar line is classic Ferrari red, so this black version is a nice twist on the classic color.

The video was filmed using a Sony FX3 camera, making the whole video look like a short film that you would see at Cannes Film Festival.

His allegiance to classic Italian style

Not only is the Ferrari F40 iconic as it was the last Ferrari ever to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari for the automaker’s 40th Anniversary, but at the time it was the brand’s fastest, most powerful and expensive car for sale.

Although we don’t know whether this was one of the original supercars painted black by Ferrari or it had been done later after production, but the all-black five-spoke Speedline wheels are not originally from the factory.

Not only do we get to see the gorgeous Ferrari, we also get a glimpse of the owner’s amazing classic Alfa Romeo that’s sharing a garage, and we can’t blame the owner, but he clearly has an allegiance to classic Italian supercars.

The video ends with the fabulous supercar parked in front of a scenic window with the words ‘Only The Beginning’ flashing on the screen, leaving the viewer to wonder quite what the YouTuber meant.

All of this leads to the obvious question: Best Supercar Unboxing Video Oscar category when?
