The latest GTA 6 leak reveals an all-new, crazy map.
We know that the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise is set in Vice City – aka Miami, Florida – but now we’ve learned something that changes the game.
Both literally and metaphorically.

Rockstar Games (and Take-Two Interactive) have yet to unveil GTA 6, but fans have spent the past few months deciphering a long list of leaks and rumors.
Vice City, which last appeared in the eponymous GTA game from 2002, will be larger than ever before.
And more importantly, players will be able to travel between different states and maps.
It’s sort of the same thing you could do with GTA San Andreas between San Fierro (San Francisco), Los Santos (LA) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas) – but bigger and better.
Having spent hours analyzing the footage and reading more leaked documents from Rockstar, fans took to X to share their findings.
“Rockstar have brought down and featured locations from Georgia, including a Prison and mountain ranges not present in real world Florida,” the GTA 6 leak document states.
And there’s more because some keen-eyed users spotted a location that appears identical to Augusta State Medical Prison in Georgia.
We’re not going to ask how and why they’re familiar with this particular location, but that’s beside the point.
Map analysis experts have discovered the prison in the GTA 6 leaks resembles Augusta State Medical Prison in Augusta, Georgia.

So it won’t be just parts of Florida as originally thought but Georgia as well. This map is going to be insane! #GTA6 pic.twitter.com/X6AYz7j6bF
Even though we don’t have a release date, most people believe GTA 6 will be released at some point in the second half of 2024.
Rockstar insider Chris Marx, also known by his online handle MarxxChris, said he was 100 percent certain the “Grand Theft Auto VI announcement is set to release on 26 October 2023”.
I can now confirm that Grand Theft Auto VI announcement is set to release on 26th October 2023.

This is because the Take-Two CEO told CNBC they were expecting significant growth in Q4 2024.
Take-Two is a big company and it’s got a lot of promising titles in its arsenal, but everybody knows GTA is its biggest earner by far.
