This old Chevy truck can transform into a camper with a secret wooden cabin.

Yes, you read that right – a wooden cabin.

At first glance, this 1991 Chevrolet GMT400 K1500 doesn’t look too out of the ordinary.

But inside, it’s super impressive.

Taking a look inside the Chevy truck perfect for any camping trip

This sweet ride was found on Facebook Marketplace by a journalist over at The Autopian.

Increasing numbers of Americans are opting to live a life on wheels – it’s cheaper and allows them to see more of the country.

And this Chevy truck could make for a perfect home on wheels.

It doesn’t look too much like a camper van, but that might work to its advantage.

Having a RV parked up on the side of the road might draw some unwanted attention, but this blends in perfectly.

Up front, the driver’s area looks like your classic pick-up truck.

Decked out in burgundy and accompanied by a wooden dashboard, it is rustic but tasteful.

It’s in the back where things get really interesting.

Much like a mullet, this Chevy truck is work in the front and party in the back.

What’s inside this truck’s wood cabin?

Before entering through the back, visitors are greeted by a delightful wooden porch.

There’s lighting, a port for onboard water storage and a cubbyhole to store other items.

It’s very homey – you could imagine this on the porch of a cabin with somebody sitting in a rocking chair.

Once inside, there’s cedar as far as the eye can see from the walls to the ceiling.

With shelves and counters galore, and even custom framing on the windows, this is a idyllic place to spend your camping trip.

Don’t worry about getting warm, as there’s an air-conditioner installed.

Alongside that is a lithium battery power station and a sofa bed.

The counter even a sink and a stove, eliminating the need for starting a campfire to cook up some beans.

On Facebook Marketplace, this is going for $7,500 and is available from Birmingham, Alabama.

If there’s one thing we can rely on Marketplace for, it’s cool cars like this that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.

This strange Dodge Challenger got a lot of people talking when it was shared to the platform.

And who could forget the car of cartoon legend Homer Simpson?
