This YouTuber compared the Tesla Model S to the Cybertruck and Model X, and drew some interesting conclusions.
The Model S Plaid first hit the scene in 2021, which is four years ago – a long time in the world of cars.
Other cars like the Cybertruck and Model X are on the market, so is it even worth buying a Model S these days?
With all the cars costing around the same amount – $80,000 – other factors will have to be taken into consideration.

Comparing the Tesla Model S to the Cybertruck and Model X
David Nguyen, the host of YouTube channel Utechpia, started off his review by giving a frank assessment of the Model S.
He said: “The Model S may be the most boring Tesla there is right now.
“The Cybertruck is frigging awesome because it’s like a spaceship, the Model X has the falcon wing doors and is big and has a huge windshield.”
So – on charisma – the Model S isn’t looking so hot.
It’s looking a whole lot better than this abandoned Cybertruck which had been covered in graffiti, though.
However, cars aren’t all about flashiness – what about the nitty gritty details of speed and performance?
Well, on that front, the Model S looks very good as the fastest Tesla.
It’s capable of going from 0 to 60mph in under two seconds.
In Nyugen’s mind, the Model S is for people who don’t want to go ‘too big’.
He said: “It’s ideal for somebody who likes to have luxury.
“The Model X, with its falcon wing doors, draws a lot of attention.
“The Model S is for someone who likes the luxury, likes the performance, that don’t want attention.
“If you have the Cybertruck, you’re getting a lot of attention. The Model S is a sedan.”
Getting eyeballs on you might be part of the appeal of owning a Tesla, admittedly.
What’s also set to get people talking is installing the key card into your hand, as this guy did.
Which EV came out on top?
Nyugen suggested that the Model S will soon be discontinued, owing to its age and outdated manufacturing process.
With Tesla providing a free lifetime supercharging offer alongside the model, they might be looking to sell as many as possible before pulling the plug.
Given that all three models come with equivalent price tags, it’s really down to preference which one you take.
Nyugen seemed pretty happy to have a brand new Model S in his possession, even praising the yoke steering wheel.
Not that it was unconditional praise however – he didn’t like that the horn wasn’t in the center of the wheel as in most cars.
Ever since there’s been EVs, there’s been people who have opinions about them.
We bet that there was differences of opinion when the first EV dropped all the way back in 1906.
