We recently had the incredible opportunity to get an exclusive look at Red Bull’s F1-inspired first-ever hypercar, the RB17.

The car was recently unveiled at the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Designed and manufactured entirely by Red Bull Advanced Technologies, RB17 instantly captured everyone’s attention at the event.

The car weighs just 900kg but packs a powerful 1200 horsepower to produce a top speed of over 350kph – or around 217mph.

That’s seriously impressive, though it’s not quite as quick as the Koenigsegg One, one of the fastest cars in the world.

The aerodynamic design and glossy carbon fiber body with roof scoop add to the aggressive look of this RB17 hypercar.

Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in-house, only 50 units will be produced, making it a rare vehicle and a perfect car collector’s item.

The F1 levels of performance combined with luxurious comfort: that’s what Red Bull is offering.

Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing’s Team Principal, expressed his excitement about the RB17: “We are excited to reveal the RB17 at Goodwood Festival of Speed, a project that is one of the most authentic and exciting that Red Bull Advanced Technologies has embarked upon to date.”

RB17 is finally here

The RB17 will cost around £5.75 million, with deliveries starting in 2026.

It’s interesting to see how car companies are developing forward-thinking designs for the future.

For example, we had the chance to look at the hydrogen-powered Alpine Alpenglow concept car prototype, which impressed us with its futuristic approach.

But let’s get back to Red Bull’s F1-inspired RB17 supercar – the two-seat design allows drivers to share the thrill of F1 speeds with a friend or partner.

Talking about the project, Adrian Newey added, “For it to finally be the day we pull the covers off and see the birth of the RB17, is truly remarkable.”

“The RB17 Hypercar embraces everything we stand for: undeniable power, speed and beauty,” he added.

So, if you have a love for hypercars and have some serious cash to spend, RB17 by Red Bull has you covered.
