Elon Musk is pretty vocal when it comes to freedom of speech.
The tech mogul doesn’t shy away from controversy and he knows that even liking or sharing a tweet can get you in trouble these days.
For that reason, Musk came up with a plan to help users who face backlash because of a tweet.

“If you were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill. No limit. Please let us know,” Musk said.
It all started when streamer Kara Lynne was apparently fired from her job at a gaming company for sharing, liking and reposting politically-infused content on social media.
When Musk got wind of the issue, he asked Kara to confirm whether this was true or not.
“Kara, is that accurate?” Musk said.
Lynne told Musk saying that the situation was more complicated than the headline suggested, but still confirmed it was correct.
Musk is known for his controversial opinions when it comes to politics and the things he says and does, for better or worse, often affect his companies’ stock performance.
This is true for Twitter and SpaceX but it is especially true for Tesla.
However, the owner of Twitter / X has said time and time again he doesn’t care about that.
“I’ll say what I want to say, and if the consequence of that is losing money so be it,” Musk told CNBC.
His strategy is working, at least for now, since he is still the wealthiest person in the world.
At the time of writing, Elon Musk has a net worth of $232 billion.
The second-richest man in the world, LVMH’s Bernard Arnault, has a net worth of $221 billion.
