An Alabama widow has received a very generous offer for a few classic cars from her late husband’s collection.
Her husband was an avid collector of not only classic cars, but also trucks, bulldozers, and bikes.
His wife, Robin Wiggins, unfortunately, didn’t share his passion.
So when he died, she was left with a collection she didn’t quite know what to do with.

Widow sells her late husband’s classic cars
A bunch of the cars were bought by the folks over at the Gas Monkey Garage, who covered the sale on their YouTube channel.
According to Wiggins, she and her husband used to watch their videos together.
Coincidently, the husband was also a retired police officer, just like the host Richard.
After the introductions, they stepped into the garage and the first car they spotted was a 1955 Chevy that the husband had since he was 17.
The classic car looked to be in quite good condition even after so many years.
Generous offer for the car collection
The collection had a fair few gems, including a 1984 Corvette hanging on a car lift.
It also included a few Chevrolets from the 1940s and also a 1984 Goldwing motorcycle.
The garage also had a Nissan Fairlady 280Z that belonged to a family friend but Richard was able to include it in the deal.

In the end, Richard bought five classic cars from her late husband’s collection.
For these, he offered the nice round figure of $45,000.
It would be great if these cars could be restored to their former glory and find owners who can take care of them properly.
