It takes lots of skill to build a house.

Interestingly, the same skill – and materials – can be used to build a miniature house.

YouTuber OUROBOROSARQ just built a mini house with real building materials and the detail he puts into it is incredible.

He’s published multiple videos showing the different stages of construction of the mini house, and they’re going viral.

Just like the real thing, he lays down a concentrate and rebar foundations, erects beams and walls, lays bricks, and installs tiled roofs on the tiny dwellings.

These 1:10 scale structures are similar to dollhouses and architectural models.

However, the main difference is they aren’t prefabricated models made of plastic and cardboard put together following a manual.

Instead, their step-by-step construction involves using “real” materials and techniques: from the foundational trenches to miniature bricks, formwork, etc.

Many of the tools used are also to scale, too, as are the concrete, custom-made windows, and doors.

In one of OUROBOROSARQ’s videos, the YouTuber goes through the 10 steps involved in building a house.

These are actual steps to building a real house, but he applies the same principles .

He starts by preparing the “site” for construction, excavating and levelling the ground, and constructing the foundations of the house

Next, he frames the skeleton, which involves putting the walls, beams, and roof into place, and building room divisions.

At this stage, you’d install electrical and plumbing systems in the house.

After that, you’d install insulation in the walls, roof, and floor, to keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer.

Next up, the YouTuber applies exterior finishes to the house to give it an aestethic look achieved by installing wall cladding, roof covering, and windows.

He even adds interior finishes like wall cladding, flooring, doors, molding, and paint.

Clearly very talented, it’s super cool watching the YouTuber put his skills to good use.
