This buyer was in love with a Lexus’ exterior, but a test drive had her considering a Mazda instead.

Kylika Miller was smitten when she laid eyes on the 2021 Lexus GX 460, but the interior left her feeling a little shortchanged.

She shared her dilemma to TikTok to get others’ input on what she should choose.

With Miller feeling the Lexus’ interior felt dated compared to her 2017 Mazda, she was at a crossroads.

Why was this buyer not impressed with the Lexus?

Miller began her video standing outside her home besides a white Lexus 460.

She said: “I was so excited to take this beauty home for the night.

“There she is. In all her glory. Love this, it’s a 2021 but it’s so outdated it made me feel nauseous when I was driving. Because I was like, ‘Instantly don’t like it.”

Feeling nauseous whilst driving is pretty damning, right?

And we thought it was bad enough when these guys were left gagging when they came across a Honda Acura NSX with mice living inside.

She continued: “But I have a Mazda 2017 that’s like fully loaded. Has all the Apple CarPlay.

“I actually look at the speed limit up in my windshield and I didn’t realize how used to that I am. Until I didn’t have it in this.”

This left her deliberating on whether she should get another Mazda.

“Do I just get a new Mazda? I’ve seen the CX-70, if that good? Or maybe a 90?” she asked her viewers.

What did her viewers have to say?

As reported by The Daily Dot, the viewers on Miller’s video were divided in their contributors.

One person said: “Keep the Lexus. You’ll regret it when that Mazda is in the shop.”

Another said: “Lexus and Toyota take forever to update their vehicles interior. But they are very reliable. My 2023 4Runner is nice inside but the new ones have better features.”

This seems like the age old style over substance debate.

Other people were advocating for the Mazda.

One user wrote: “Mazda is such an underrated brand. Great cars.”

Another said: “Brand loyalty all the way.”

It just goes to show – this is why test drives are important.

Sometimes you could fall head over heels for a car looking at it in the showroom, but the driving experience is something else.

We’re sure there were people taken in by the Yugo SV, before finding out they’d landed themselves with ‘America’s most unreliable car’.
