The already impressive Ferrari F355 has been given an extensive rework, and the results are nothing short of stunning.

A heavily revised version of the Ferrari 348 – the F355 was launched back in 1994 and was on the market for five years.

At the time, it was the F355 was the most-produced Ferrari ever with 11,273 units. This record didn’t stand for long, as it was soon beaten by its successor, the 360.

The 90s Ferrari has had a thoroughly modern makeover

Nonetheless, the popular and beautiful car earned itself a place in automotive history.

And now, 30 years after its launch, UK-based engineering firm Evoluto has given it an incredible new look.

Evoluto, which specializes in ‘meticulous restoration and modernization of iconic supercars’, has pulled out all the stops to create a unique vehicle that still embraces the F355 original design.

The company stripped back the F355 to its core chassis, cleaned it up, and strengthened it using carbon fusing.

These new panels don’t just look the part, they also significantly reduce weight while enhancing the car’s stiffness, resulting in a 23 percent improvement in torsional rigidity.

The exterior isn’t the only thing that has been beefed up, either. Under the hood, the F355 has been given a reworked engine with a naturally aspirated V8 engine capable of producing 420 horsepower.

The rework ‘blends timeless design with modern luxury’

Evoluto says the new engine offers ‘21st-century reliability’ and better response.

Which is what you want from your supercar, right?

Meanwhile, the six-speed manual gearbox has also had a rework, and a new wiring system and electronic architecture has been fitted.

Inside, the company says its F355 ‘blends timeless design with modern luxury’ with a focus ‘on a driver-centric cockpit, seamlessly integrating modern technology with luxury craftsmanship and materials.’

“The 355 was iconic in 1994, now 30 years later, we’ve re-engineered it to OEM standards,” said Evoluto’s technical boss, Amjad Ali

Just 55 of the reworked F355 will be made and can be tailored to your preferences.
