An urban explorer stumbled across a completely abandoned RV on a derelict road and decided to check it out.

While that may sound a bit like the synopsis for a horror movie, it was the reality for urban explorer and content creator 539 Productions.

The abandoned RV had been left parked up with no sign of its owner and appeared to have previously attracted the attention of vandals.

The RV was in a terrible state

We’ve seen urban explorers uncover all kinds of weird and unusual places, such as the guy who found a DIY tank inside an abandoned mansion, or the man who found an old warehouse that was crammed full of classic cars

Sadly, this poor RV has certainly seen better days with almost every single one of its windows smashed, its back bumper hanging off and rust and moss growing on the outside.

Inside is a similar story, with its cupboards and storage and spaces similarly smashed up and left in disarray.

There’s also litter and dirt strewn throughout the motorhome including a broken TV, an upturned mattress, and empty plastic bottles.

It’s a pretty spacious RV, with the urban explorer giving a full tour of the dining/lounge area, sleeping area, and bathroom.

It would have been a great motorhome when new

“It was actually a neat little place,” the urban explorer noted as he checked out the bathroom. “It would have been a fun one – if it wasn’t in such bad condition – to travel around in.”

And he’s not wrong, although it’s hard to imagine when you see it in its current state, the RV does appear to be a decent model.

It has its own little kitchen, complete with a fridge; bathroom with a toilet, shower cubicle, and plenty of extra storage space behind; and leather seats up front for the driver. Nice, right?

It’s unclear when the RV was dumped, but judging by the state of the exterior, we’d guess it’s been a while.

A sad ending for an otherwise cool little motorhome.
