A YouTuber in America has created the ultimate tug-of-war by pitting a Ford F-150 pickup truck against a Tesla Model X.

YouTuber The Zunigas’s video shows the two facing off in the parking lot, with a surprising result.

Despite the Ford’s size, the contest was much closer than expected, and the end result shocked even the YouTubers.

And remember, this isn’t a Ford F-150 against a Cybertruck, but a run-of-the-mill Model X.

Tug-of-war comes in response to an Elon Musk video.

The American YouTubers’ tug-of-war actually came in response to a video posted by Elon Musk on X in 2019.

The Tesla CEO showed a Cybertruck easily pulling a Ford F-150 up a hill in a similar tug-of-war contest, which proved no challenge for the then prototype truck.

However, the American YouTubers believed the Model X was a better matchup against the F-150, hence it being the rival for this new tug-of-war contest.

Prior to their version, the YouTubers believed that the Ford pickup truck would win and strike back against Tesla.

However, they were in for a shock.

The Tesla Model X easily beat the Ford F-150

Despite the F-150 being a powerful four-wheel-drive, the video shows just how potent Tesla’s EVs are.

The F-150 spins up all its tires and produces a lot of smoke, indicating that it’s working hard.

However, when the Model X puts the power down, it quickly pulls the Ford pickup backward despite all the noise and smoke coming from the F-150.

It is astounding how easy it looked for the Model X, especially considering the size difference between the Model X and the pickup truck.

Tesla and Ford have an intense rivalry

Tesla and Ford have an intense rivalry that dates back to when the EV manufacturer first unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019.

As part of his big plan to unveil the Cybertruck, he showcased it towing the F-150.

Musk later went on to poke fun at Ford in other ways.

In a jab at the Blue Oval, Tesla even dressed a Cybertruck up as an F-150.
