The skyline of Oklahoma City is about to change with the approval of Legends Tower, which is set to become the tallest skyscraper in America, able to be built to an ‘unlimited’ height.
What does that mean exactly?
Well, we’ll tell you.
This groundbreaking project is a collaboration between AO and Matteson Capital.

Legends Tower will be the tallest skyscraper in America
The best thing about the Legends Tower is that the Oklahoma City Council gave the green light to work on this project without setting any height restriction.
The construction of the tallest skyscraper in America is set to start this fall.
This is going to be a revolutionary change for Oklahoma.
We can only hope that the project doesn’t remain unfinished, just like the abandoned skyscraper in China that is still unfinished after 15 years.
Legends Tower is set to sour to an impressive 1907 feet, a tribute to the year Oklahoma became the 46th state in 1907.
If you ask about its global ranking, then it would be the 5th tallest building in the world.
The project includes development of surrounding area
The ambitious project is part of the larger Boardwalk at Bricktown development, which will feature three additional buildings, each 345 feet tall.
“The impact of the Boardwalk at Bricktown will be significant, felt locally in Oklahoma City and resonating across the globe,” AO stated.
“It will set a new standard for urban innovation and architectural excellence,” the company added.
While Oklahoma is working on America’s tallest skyscraper, Dubai is set to break its own record by constructing the tallest building in the world.
The development will cover three acres of space.
The area surrounding the new tower is also set for major developments.
A $41 million multipurpose stadium and a new $900 million arena for the Oklahoma City Thunder will be constructed nearby.
It’s a huge investment in the transformation of Oklahoma.
The tower will use eco-friendly technologies like energy-efficient glass and renewable energy, aiming for a high environmental rating.
With construction beginning soon, all eyes are on the Oklahoma Legends Tower and the surrounding area that it is destined to revolutionize soon.
