A Tesla Cybertruck has taken on a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and a Mercedes-AMG G63 in a drag race for the ages.

Three different tests were performed.

Two were about speed, and one was about stopping power.

In a way, the result made everyone happy.

Three separate tests, three different winners

The test begun with a classic quarter-mile drag race.

All three vehicles are extremely powerful, and all three are capable of generating enormous amounts of torque.

Interestingly, the race involved the Dual Motor version, not the Cyberbeast, and this one ‘only’ produces 600 horsepower and 525lb-ft of torque.

For reference, the Cullinan produces 592 horsepower and 664lb-ft, while the G63 puts out 597 horsepower and 627lb-ft of torque.

We should also point out that all three vehicles are heavy.

The Cullinan weighs 5,864lbs (2,660kg), the AMG weighs 5,820lbs (2,640kg), and the Cybertruck weighs 6,634lbs (3,009kg).

The test started with a quarter-mile drag race, repeated three times just to make sure the result was fair.

The Cybertruck won on all three occasions, with the Mercedes and Rolls battling for second and third place and beating each other by milliseconds across three attempts.

The second test was the half-mile run, and this time the G63 won, with the Cybertruck in second place, and the Cullinan in third place.

Interestingly, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan then won the brake test, followed by the Mercedes-AMG G63 in second and Tesla’s truck last.

So the Tesla Cybertruck won the first drag race, the G63 won the second, and the Cullinan won the brake test.

Everybody’s a winner.

Cybertruck is becoming a drag race star

When the Cybertruck was first unveiled over a year ago, Tesla pitted it against a Porsche 911 as part of the official launch.

In the last few months, we’ve seen the truck beat Lambos, muscle cars and even the Hummer EV, a direct rival.

In theory, this is a truck but in practice, people use it as a performance vehicle.

It’s easy to see why.

Thanks to its colossal torque, and the fact EVs are capable of immense speed off the line, it is very difficult to beat the Cybertruck in a drag race.
