Man takes delivery of the final ever Bugatti Chiron, customized and with a ridiculous price

After a two-year wait, a Canadian entrepreneur has taken delivery of the final Bugatti Chiron.

It brings an end to production of the mighty W16 hypercar.

Well, sort of.

The French marque recently revealed the latest Chiron to roll off the production line at its factory in Molsheim, claiming it to be the finale of the Chiron 1500 PS trim.

Of course, it’s not your average Bugatti Chiron – if there’s such a thing – with this particular example customized through the brand’s Sur Mesure program.

The final Chiron Super Sport 300+ was delivered to its owner back in 2022, while the Chiron Profilèe was auctioned off for $10.8 million last year.

Not to forget the Chiron Super Sport ’57 One of One’, which pays homage top an icon, or the one-off Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Le Muguet, which takes customization to a whole new level.

However, it’s still not the end of the road for the hypercar, as an unknown number of Chiron-based derivatives (Chiron Pur Sport, Mistral, and Bolide) are yet to be delivered.

According to the Atelier, the remaining Chiron-derived hypercars would reach their owners in a “few months with the delivery of the last [Chiron] example.”

But back to the last Chiron 1500 PS – it’s finished in beautiful glossy Nocture black paint contrasted by bright Copper orange accents.

What really stands out, though, is the signature horseshoe grille featuring the number ’16’ in the same copper-range color.

And you guessed it – the striking color combination is carried over to the cockpit of the Bugatti Chiron, which is decked out in Beluga Black and Copper leather.

To add that extra-special touch, botht he center console and door sills feature a handwritten note that reads “The final 1500 hp Chiron.”

Speaking of which, powering the Bugatti Chiron is a mighty 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces 1,500 horsepower in this trim.

“Prepare to bid adieu to the era of the Chiron,” Bugatti posted on X.

“Bugatti unveils the final 1,500 [hp] Chiron as the marque readies itself for the delivery of its last Chiron example in a few months,” the post added.

The final Chiron 1500 PS was delivered to Bilal Hydrie, a Canadian entrepreneur.

Apparently, Hydrie ordered the final Chiron 1500 PS sometime in November 2021, according to an Instagram post by the venture capitalist, and is priced north of $3 million.
