A YouTube video shows a wild homemade Koenigsegg Jesko, created for just $100, that is actually a Toyota under the skin.
Vietnamese YouTuber NHẾT TV has posted an hour-long video on their channel, showcasing the build and detailing the car.
The video reveals that this recreation is so much more than just a standard body kit clone.
The people who built the car handcrafted everything, from the chassis to the car’s shell – the only non-handmade parts came from an unlikely donor.

The Toyota Corona was the donor car for this Jesko clone
The Toyota Corona that the team had bought for $100 was the donor car for this recreation of the Koenigsegg supercar.
The Toyota provided almost all the mechanical components, including the 1.8-liter 4S-FE four-cylinder engine.
While not particularly powerful, the engine is reliable.
This means that provided the rest of the build is of high quality, this Jesko recreation should last a long time.
As for that build quality, it would appear that it is highly proficient, with some remarkable engineering going into this clone.
The team behind it has recreated features such as the Jesko’s adjustable wing and dihedral doors.
Step inside, and we can see a recreated, hand-built interior while the bodywork was made by pounding the forms to fiberglass resin pours.
Honestly, this is some seriously impressive work.
The Koenigsegg recreation goes into immense detail
Watching the video shows just how much detail the team behind the car has put into it.
The steering, for example, was elongated to reach the knuckles up front.
Most impressive, though, is the suspension.
Instead of taking that from the Toyota donor car, the YouTubers created it in-house, as the time-lapse in the video reveals.
You could argue that this replica is almost as bespoke as the real Koenigsegg Jesko.

Naturally, the overall quality of the materials will be lower than that of Koenigsegg – this is, after all, a home-built car – but the effort that has gone into creating it is awe-inspiring.
Even components such as the rear wing and front splitter are recreated in exact detail, and each part is spray-painted to give the replica a very high-quality finish.
With the right know-how and skills, this impressive build proves anything is possible.
