Having ordered the cheapest bike possible on Amazon, this YouTuber has then given his new toy the turbocharging treatment.

With a need for speed but a budget more like a weekly paper route, this man had to get creative.

So, the cheapest ride deliverable on Amazon turned out to be a pit bike.

But with a turbocharger handy, could he get the power he desired to get the adrenaline flowing?

Cheapest Bike on Amazon gets turbocharging treatment from YouTuber

We’ve seen some very questionable bikes come from online sites like Alibaba, where size is always an issue.

The same went for the cheapest bike from Temu.

But in a bid to find something worth the money, one YouTuber has now bought the cheapest bike on Amazon and fit it with a Turbocharger.

The channel ‘BUM’, who describe themselves as dedicated to making the most insufferable machines on the internet’, bought the bike for just $250.

Much like ones from other sites, the pit bike was tiny, but that was expected and described on site, rather than coming as a complete surprise.

It came pre-assembled with new tires, disc brakes, and an under-tail exhaust, which combined to thrust the bike to a healthy 25mph.

But the turbocharging session soon commenced, and the bike was fitted and greased up quite easily.

So, would it help?

In the end, the turbocharger added an impressive 20 percent extra speed to the bike, although that does seem slightly mundane when you consider it only went from 25mph to 30mph.

Still, it left a dirtbike in the rearview in a straight drag race, jetting off the mark and being seriously fun to ride.

The YouTubers plan on adding even more power with the possibility of using NOS, which could see the tiny machine erupt.

Other over-charged bikes have hit impressive speeds – the homemade steam-powered motorbike can hit 60mph, for example.

Even the Henry Hoover bike can hit 30mph.

As for the cheapest bike on Amazon, the turbocharging worked a treat, and for $350, it looked like money well spent – although you’d probably get backache riding it for a long time.
