Dutch automaker, Donkervoort, caused excitement when announcing that they have a new supercar in the works, the P24 RS.

It is a small family-run car manufacturer with a need for speed, with their previously released supercars consistently outracing and outperforming much larger well-established supercar brands like Porsche.

The car manufacturer released their last supercar, the F22, in 2022, and the new P24 RS is said to be the next evolution of its older sibling.

The company is keeping the car’s design very much under wraps, so we don’t quite know what to expect at the moment, but we suspect that it will be spectacular.

A Donkervoort legacy of speed

Not many people know much about Dutch family-owned car manufacturer, Donkervoort, but it may not be too long until it becomes more of a household name.

The company is currently run by the founder’s son, Denis Donkervoort, there’s nothing like owning a supercar brand named after your family, so he doesn’t have to follow any rules when designing a supercar.

The P24 RS follows in the tire tracks of the company’s 2022 release, the F22.

It will carry a massive legacy of record-breaking and we expect no less from the Dutch automaker.

The P24 RS will have to be a record-breaker

The first time Donkervoort hit headlines in 1988 was when their D10 car set the world record for acceleration using an engine from Ford.

In 2005, the Donkervoort D8 270 RS beat the Porsche Carrera GT on a lap around the Nurburgring track.

Fans of the car automaker should be excited to see the new P24 RS in 2027 as it follows in the legacy of such amazing supercars.

Denis is currently sharing the company’s journey and a step-by-step on the development and construction of the supercar in a YouTube series so that fans can follow along.

Roll on 2027, we can’t wait to see this new record-breaker!
