This guy was simply enjoying a ride in his dream truck when something unexpected happened.

Everything felt perfect as he cruised in the truck, enjoying beautiful sunset views.

However, it wasn’t long before his excitement turned to worry.

Suddenly, during the joyride, he noticed something unusual – the head gasket had blown, leaving him with the unexpected task of repairing the truck.

The truck had major fluid issues

Luckily, his friend quickly came to the rescue, towing the giant vehicle home with his F350.

As he dug deeper into the issue, he realized there were potential fluid issues in the engine. Fortunately, the engine didn’t seem locked up, but it made a worrying sound.

Upon a closer look, he realized that the coolant and oil were mixing together.

This was a problem that needed quick attention. Plus, with the truck having 900,000 miles, it seemed more likely that a restoration was necessary.

Mixing coolant and oil is a serious problem as it can cause the engine to overheat and lead to severe damage – even complete engine failure if not taken care of on time.

In a video shared on the YouTube channel Hunter Goodrich, the mechanic started carefully removing components to inspect the head.

The hope was to replace just the head gasket for a quick fix.

The guy has major future plans for his vehicles

The truck had already undergone extensive modifications and restoration, including a longer stretch of the cab. This redesign helped the chassis manage the extra weight.

In fact, the owner had grand plans for his truck, even planning to turn it into a unique toter home.

Additionally, he wanted to add a living space for future adventures.

Once the fluid issue was resolved, he was eager to move forward with his exciting plans for his beloved truck.
