This Ferrari replica is actually a modified Toyota Celica and has appeared for sale in Thailand.
For those who like the finer things in life, a high-end car is a must.
But for those who like the finer things in life and don’t quite have the budget to match – there are still some options out there.
Such as this fake Ferrari that began life as a Toyota Celica.

The Ferrari replica had a previous life as Toyota Celica
There are plenty of replica supercars out there – including this one that Ferrari would quite like to see banned and this ‘Faux-rari’ that was quickly pulled over by cops while on a road trip from Ohio to California.
Some replicas hit the nail on the head, and others don’t.
But this replica Ferrari posted for sale in Thailand has a mix of both good and bad.
At first glance, the car looks pretty similar to a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta – but the longer you look, the more you see the bits that don’t quite fit.
Let’s start with what went right – the front end of the vehicle, with its custom headlights, vented hood and beefy fenders looks pretty close to the real deal F12 Berlinetta.
But the badge looks to be sitting a little bit too high and the bumper intakes feel off, too.
The side profile of the replica also mostly misses the mark with its undersized side mirrors and lack of sleek lines you’d expect to find on a Ferrari.
The car appears to have held onto its original engine
Taking a look at the car from the back, it seems as though the original designer abandoned the idea of replicating a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and has opted for something completely different.
The Ferrari replica has some supersized taillights, surrounded by a thick black trim, as well as the addition of a rear wing and a couple of fake central tailpipes.
Inside there’s red. A lot of red, actually. More red than you’re probably re(a)dy for.
From the seats to the dashboard to the floors and doors, the interiors are decked out in scarlet with a smattering of black thanks to the steering wheel and handbrake – but overall it’s really, really red.
An image of the engine appears to show that the replica has held onto the Celica’s original 2.2 liter four-cylinder engine.
So, the replica won’t shift like a Ferrari on the road, but it looks pretty fun, doesn’t it?
And if you fancy giving it a go – the seller is hoping to get around $6,800 for the unique vehicle.
