This is the Hyperion XP-1, a hydrogen-powered beast that redefines everything we know about hypercars.

It’s one of the fastest cars in the world but it doesn’t need electricity or gasoline to run.

It’s powered by hydrogen, and it emits nothing but drinkable water through its exhausts.

This one is available from SBX Cars, one of only seven prototypes in existence.

The incredible powertrain of the XP-1

The Hyperion XP-1 is powered by hydrogen fuel cells, which combine hydrogen and oxygen to generate electricity.

Water is the only by-product of that reaction.

The supercar can achieve a top speed of 356km/h (221mph), and it only takes 2.32 seconds to get to 62mph.

The Hyperion is every bit as fast as it is efficient

The Hyperion is extremely fast, but it is also efficient.

The fuel cell has no moving parts, making cars that run on hydrogen more efficient and reliable than conventional combustion engines.

The car can get fully charged in just five minutes, has a mobile charging unit, and has a mammoth range of over 1,500 kilometers (932 miles).

There aren’t that many cars in the world that can achieve that.

Only of only seven ever made

Hyperion only made seven of these.

They’re all press demonstrators and concepts designed to showcase what the car can do, so this means they haven’t really been driven on public roads.

The car is available from SBX Cars and the auction is set to end on August 28th.

The icing on the cake is that whoever wins this car will also receive an invitation to customize a production model of the Hyperion.
