In a bizarre twist of fate, a rare Jaguar XJ220 sports car was unearthed in an ostrich shed, making it quite an epic barn find.
Fortunately, the racing car was beautifully restored thanks to Don Law Racing.
The Jaguar XJ220 is one the rarest supercars with only 200 examples ever being produced over 30 years ago.
But how did it come to be in an ostrich shed?

Epic barn find: rare Jaguar XJ220 racing car
YouTuber James William Walker, aka Mr. JWW, was able to uncover the story behind this Jaguar XJ220 on his YouTuber channel.
This supercar came to the US to participate in the Fast Masters racing series.
It wasn’t alone as 12 more Jaguar XJ220s were also brought for the TV racing series by Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR).
Furthermore, TWR modified and tuned these Jaguars for optimal racing performance.
However, after the end of the Fast Masters racing series in 1993, this Jaguar XJ220 returned to the UK and stayed dormant inside one of Walkinshaw’s sheds.
However, this supercar was later restored and became an epic barn find story.
Restoration
This is not the only time we have seen a rare Jaguar XJ220 being abandoned like this.
But it is certainly quite sad to see a car go from a racing track straight to a shed.
Considering how the car had crashed in the sixth round of the show, it makes sense why TWR stashed it away.
However, Don Law Racing found the hidden XJ220s in the shed, covered in dust.
They didn’t just purchase one, but six unusable XJ220s from TWR to restore and covert them for street use.
Since the car was derived from a road car, it wasn’t that hard to convert it into a street-legal version.
They also made the Jaguar XJ220 look similar to how it was on the Fast Masters TV series.
