If you’re an aviation enthusiast, you might have watched an endless amount of videos of airplanes like the Airbus A321 touching down.

But getting an exclusive insider peek from the pilots themselves is a rare sight, and an incredibly smooth landing simply makes it better.

A pilot flying an A321 wore a camera to record himself landing the aircraft, and it’s certainly a great sight.

Pilot shares incredible POV of landing an Airbus A321

The video was posted by Gregory Kovalev, who is an Airbus captain and often posts videos of his ‘butter’ landings on his YouTube channel.

He has a long list of buttery-smooth landings, but the star of today’s show is him landing the Airbus A321.

If a cockpit POV of an Airbus A321 touching down doesn’t seem all that significant to you, that’s not the only remarkable feature of this footage.

You see, Kovalev’s landing was so smooth that you couldn’t tell when the plane hit the ground.

The plane almost didn’t shake, and the landing noise was ever-so-subtle.

From the looks of it, the plane appeared to be still in the air while hovering over the runway.

Cockpit views make for a great watch

Although the Airbus A321 is an exceptional modern passenger aircraft, the pilot essentially controls the machine.

Imagine being on a flight where you don’t even realize you’ve landed.

If anything, that’s a rare occurrence these days with all sorts of aircraft in airlines’ fleets.

Now, it’s not the first time we have seen an A321 landing, but this footage certainly stands out.

Cockpit views aren’t new either, and some others like this footage of an A330 landing through gusty winds are also special.

Or this pilot’s POV of landing a Boeing 737 in a crosswind, for that matter.

While only pilots get to experience sights like these, enthusiasts mostly have to experience it from videos.
