A YouTuber on the hunt for an Audi R8 has stumbled on a golden Ferrari 308 in a random Dallas garage.
Enzo Ferrari once said: “Ask a child to draw a car, and certainly he will draw it red.”
But if you ask an adult to upgrade that car, the gold Sharpie is quickly coming out.
At least that’s the case for this modified Ferrari.

YouTuber randomly stumbles on a golden Ferrari 308
YouTube personality Nathan Graham – also known as Unspeakable – was originally on the hunt for a golden Audi R8, hoping to purchase the car from a designer.
But when they arrived at the not-so-impressive garage in Dallas, their attention was quickly diverted from the beautiful R8 to something slightly more eye-catching.
Covered in a dust sheet, and covered again in sheets of dust, Unspeakable and his companion found a golden Ferrari 308, which appeared to be out of action for years.
The car appeared to be in good condition and even had the original signature red Ferrari interior.
The YouTuber commented that the 308 was really interesting with its massive lights and its long body.
YouTuber left stunned at abandoned Ferrari 308 in gold
The golden Ferrari 308 was enough to make the YouTuber forget all about their respectful R8.
“It’s really beautiful. I really like it. It’s not just the paint, but it is the uniqueness of the car too.
“Seeing this on the road, a golden Ferrari 308, would be crazy.”
What makes this story even stranger is that the original purpose of the garage visit was completely nullified as the YouTuber’s purchase of the R8 fell through.
To little surprise, this secret golden 308 has now passed 4.5 million views on YouTube.
Gold cars tend to have an essence of mystery behind them.
Maybe this garage owner also knows the whereabouts of the golden Chevy that mysteriously vanished after GM’s 50 millionth car celebrations.
