This is what the future of cars looks like according to artificial intelligence

From a dune-bashing Bugatti to an armored Ferrari tank, this is what AI thinks cars will look like in the future.

These are the craziest, most futuristic cars created by artificial intelligence tool, DALL.E.

DALL.E is a new AI system that can artificially draw some of the most realistic images based on whatever keywords you feed it.

We plugged in some crazy search terms, like ‘armored Ferrari’, ‘off-road Bugatti’, and ‘futuristic flying car’, and this is what it came up with.

While some are super realistic, some are just out-of-this-world bizarre.

Let’s dive in.

First, we asked DALL.E to show us what it believes the future of flying cars will look like.

Flying cars

This is what it gave us; a flying car with what looks like cow udders hanging underneath it.

Is it futuristic? Yes. Is it flying? Also yes.

But propellers that look like cow udders? That’s somewhat left-of-field.

We’ll give it an A+ for creativity.

It also spat out this image – it’s cool but is that a tiny man walking a tightrope on the left?

And this is what the future will look like with flying cars navigating high-rises in the air.

Space car

Speaking of flying things, we asked DALL.E to create a concept car we could take to space, and it delivered.

It looks fairly run-of-the-mill at the front, but at the back, it looks like it’s taken the sun and turned it into a toilet plunger-shaped propellor.

Futuristic supercar

DALL.E nailed this one. Kind of.

At the front, it somewhat resembles the square nose on the Lamborghini Countach.

Around the side, the AI has given it crystalized front wheels.

And at the back, well we’re not quite sure what’s going on there – it even seems to be missing its rear wheels.

Bugatti

This beast is DALL.E’s idea of what an off-road Bugatti SUV would look like.

If you don’t look too closely at the details, it’s epic.

In fact, it looks like a Bugatti Chiron plonked on top of a 4×4 dune buggy.

And this is what DALL.E believes Bugatti will look like in the future.

It’s pretty similar to what we have today, but it’s got a huge windshield and a massive red spoiler jutting out the back.

What do you think, Frank? Time to add a big red spoiler to your hypercars?

Armored Ferrari

Remember the armored Ferrari we teased earlier? This is it.

It’s an insane-looking machine, but it doesn’t look anything like a Ferrari.

In fact, the color red appears to be the only thing the AI’s taken from the Prancing Horse.

And this one is an armored Lamborghini.

While it also fails to capture much of the Lamborghini design language, we can spot one similarity.

The truck has quite an aggressive, downward-facing nose, similar to that on the Lamborghini Aventador.

R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R

Finally, this is what DALL.E thinks the R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R looks like, and we can’t knock it too much.

The R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R was actually driven by the late Paul Walker in Fast & Furious 4.
