Recently, leaks about GTA 6 delay have spread online, but they might not mean what you think.
The original GTA 6 delay leak came from Kotaku, whose sources said that the game might be delayed from 2025 to 2026.
However, other sources have claimed otherwise and Kotaku has also updated their article.

Many reporters, including industry veteran Jason Schreier, have reached out to their sources inside Rockstar Games.
According to them, the game is on schedule, but a delay is also within the realm of possibility.
Earlier reports have also suggested that the game will be released in early 2025.
A GTA 6 delay at this point in development is ‘pure conjecture’.
According to a Take-Two financial report, the company expects to bring in a whopping $8 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2025, which ends on March 31.
This is only possible if leaks about GTA 6 delay are exaggerated and the game gets released before March 31, 2025.
The game features a dynamic duo as its main protagonists, inspired by real-life crime partners Bonny and Clyde.
Looking at the couple protagonists, it might be interesting to assume that GTA VI could be released on Valentine’s Day – February 14, 2025.
Even the GTA VI trailer features a song – Love is a Long Road by Tom Petty – which is one of the many Easter eggs that are featured in the video.
Kotaku has also updated their article after talking to more sources who said: “While early 2025 was at one point possible, it’s no longer the target for GTA VI’s launch.”
According to their sources, the target is firmly ‘Fall 2025’ and while most seem confident of hitting that date, there is a possibility of a GTA 6 delay.
Rockstar has also urged their staff to return to the office to boost productivity and enhance security in this final stage of GTA VI’s development.
So take this information with a grain of salt and wait for an official confirmation from Rockstar or Take-Two.
