The iconic Pontiac GTO has been transformed into an LS-powered restomod in Florida.
Restomods can go one of two ways.
You can either get abominations that should never have been formed, or you get artwork that deserves a spot at the Louvre.
Well, this Pontiac GTO falls into the latter category, and Mona Lisa should move over for Motor LS-a.

This Pontiac GTO in Florida is an LS-powered restomod for the ages
Touted as the world’s first muscle car, the 1964 Pontiac GTO is quite the legend.
People have been using the iconic car for decades, and while some have ended up in sorry states, this restomod in Florida has reinvented the game.
Spotted on Hagerty, and stemming from The Burnyzz Collection, this 1964 Pontiac GTO has been given a complete engine overhaul while looking as pristine as the day it was unwrapped.

The original 1964 model came kitted out with a 6.4 L V8 engine and a three-speed manual transmission.
But this beast has been brought into 2025 with the help of a 2015 Camaro SS.
The LS-powered V8 engine and six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive have been pulled from the Camaro SS and placed under the Pontiac’s hood, flawlessly making this car a restomod for the ages.
The team claims that it is a ‘finely modified example and is said to be free from any substantial imperfections.’
It’d be hard to argue otherwise.

The car is actually being sold too, with bidding at $45k at the time of writing – which is interestingly the rough approximation of how much a brand-new Pontiac GTO would have cost back in 1964 ($4,500 adjusted for inflation).
To this day, the Pontiac GTO makes people happy pulling up the driveway, and this restomod takes things one step further.
