The 222-inch ‘Mega Sleeper’ features a Harley Davidson motorcycle compartment, making it a one-of-a-kind vehicle.

Owned by Dan and Joy Kelly, this massive truck is one of the largest units by Volvo.

The best thing is that it includes a unique garage unit specifically designed for their beloved motorcycle.

A perfect home on wheels

The story of this truck is covered on the official YouTube channel of Elegance On Eighteen Wheels Magazine

The Mega Sleeper has a wheelbase of 374 inches.

With the garage, it measures 222 inches, and without it, it is 168 inches.

The Kellys have a special ‘bed and breakfast’ setup: the space can transform into a room with a full-size bed and fold up to become a dining area.

This flexibility makes the Mega Sleeper not just a transport vehicle but also a comfortable living space.

They use this huge truck to transport military, aerospace, and aircraft-related items.

The truck can carry around 35,000 pounds of cargo, making it incredibly powerful and versatile.

The ability to transport such heavy loads is crucial for their business, which relies on the truck’s capacity and reliability.

Building this impressive unit took about 10 months.

Dan was the mastermind behind the entire design, ensuring every detail was perfect.

The amenities include a microwave, bed, shower, air fryer, refrigerator, a fully functional washroom, and everything one needs in a perfect house.

These features make the Mega Sleeper a home away from home, providing comfort and convenience on the road.

Talking about his Harley Davidson, Dan said that he loves it a lot and wants it to always be with him.

That’s why he built the garage at the front.

Before getting into the truck business, Dan and Joy lived in Minnesota.

They decided to run this business and now spend most of their time happily in their Mega Sleeper.

Taking the decision to sell their house and live their lives on a truck is quite daring.

Even though their ‘Mega Sleeper’ is converted into a perfect living space, it takes a lot of courage.

But that’s what makes their story unique, just like the guys who decided to stay on a cruise ship instead of a retirement home.
