The Mercedes AVTR was quite possibly the coolest car released in 2020, and it remains one of the coolest concept cars out there to this day.
Designed in partnership with the people behind James Cameron’s Avatar movie series, the AVTR looks like it could have stepped straight off the fictional planet of Pandora.
It has glowing and pulsing lights, wheels designed to look like the seeds of the Tree of Souls, and responsive back ‘scales’ that move and make the car look like a living creature.
It definitely has to be seen to be believed, and there’s no wonder it has been described as the ‘world’s coolest car‘.
Not only that, as you’ll see in the video, it can drive sideways!
