Secretive billionaire buys ‘New Secret’ superyacht – inside is mesmerizing

A billionaire most people have probably never heard of just bought a New Secret superyacht.

The superyacht is new, and its existence was kept a secret before the launch, but in this case ‘New Secret’ is actually the name of the yacht.

And New Secret is definitely a thing of beauty.

Built by Amels in the Netherlands, New Secret is 242 feet long (73 meters) and it has three pools.

There’s a 26-foot infinity pool on the main deck with sun loungers, coffee tables, and a bar, then there’s another one in the wellness center and then another one – a jacuzzi – on the sundeck.

Interestingly, while most superyachts have suites of various sizes and types, the six suites aboard New Secret are all identical in size and decor.

The only exception is of course the owner’s master suite, which includes an office, a walk-in closet, and a large foredeck.

The secretive owner of New Secret

The yacht was reportedly purchased for around $106 million by Zygmunt Solorz, a media tycoon from Poland.

According to Forbes, Solorz has a net worth of $2.2 billion, more than enough to spend $100 million on a yacht.

Yachts with unusual names

Naming a yacht ‘New Secret’ might sound strange, but yacht owners often get very creative when it comes to naming their yachts.

There are yachts with resounding names, such as Black Pearl, and yachts with a name that aren’t immediately understandable such as Jeff Bezos’ Koru, which apparently means ‘new beginnings’ in Maori.

And then there’s Zlatan Ibrahimović.

The Swedish former soccer star, now working at AC Milan as an advisor, owns a yacht called ‘Unknown‘.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Unless you are Zlatan that is – he can do pretty much whatever he wants.
