Indian philanthropist and businesswoman, Nita Ambani, may have stolen the show at her son’s wedding with a $7.5 million necklace.

Worn at the pre-wedding festivities at Jamnagar, Indian, it contains a whopping 863 carats of emerald.

The stunning piece took three years to make as it is as intricate as it is impressive in size.

While the groom wore a $4.6 million watch and impressed Mark Zuckerberg, at the pre-wedding party it was arguably Nita Ambani who had the most impressive bling.

He even attended a kids’ birthday party wearing a $6 million watch.

Wife of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, 60-year-old Nita wore a necklace bearing two rare Colombian emeralds measuring 560 and 303 carats, per jewelry entrepreneur Anvar Gold.

The jewels had previously been auctioned at Christie’s in 2020 as part of their Magnificent Jewels sale for $870,000.

The stunning gems have not been subjected to any refinement, a rarity for emeralds, and were embedded into the marvelous masterpiece in their natural state.

The exquisite piece was designed by the Indian jewelry house, Kantilal Chhotalal.

The jewelry house has added sparkle to Indian royalty for over 50 years and so the Ambani matriarch commissioned them to design them with her jewels for her son’s big day.

The necklace took five people three years to create.

She teamed the necklace with an equally mesmerizing $6.5 million flawless diamond ring.

The diamond weighed a whopping 52.58 carats and was mined during the Mughal era.

The piece, called the Mirror of Paradise, was auctioned at Christie’s auction in 2019 as part of the Maharaja and Mughals auction.

Completing her look at the function with the intricate necklace and enormous diamond ring were stacks of solitaire bangles, at least 12 of them.

These were added to a chunky cocktail bracelet studded with diamonds and tiny emeralds.

Nita certainly has a taste for the finer things in life as her billionaire husband gifted her a luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge worth $1.33 million last year.

They even got Rihanna to perform at the festivities.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will officially tie the knot in July 2024.

After seeing Nita wearing the equivalent of $20 million for the pre-wedding activities, we can’t wait to be dazzled by what Nita has in store for the big day.
