It makes total sense that the one-of-one Mansory Edition Cullinan, with its 24-carat gold leaf finish, should be adorned with the 'P 7' number plate.

The Dubai ‘P 7’ number plate set a new record as the most expensive license plate in the world after a bidder paid AED55 million ($15 million) for it.

Now, if you’re wondering why on earth someone would pay such an exorbitant amount for a license plate, here’s why.

The auction held at the Four Seasons hotel in Dubai raised nearly AED100 million ($27 million) for the One Billion Meals campaign, which aims to combat global hunger.

Now the dust has settled on the auction, we’ve seen exactly where the license plate has ended up.

A video posted to the NVN Motorworks Instragram page shows a one-off Mansory Edition Cullinan adorned with the expensive plate number.

In the video, the lights are switched on and a door opens to reveal the unique SUV sat in the middle of a car showroom before it starts up and slowly creeps out.

It’s flanked by several other special cars, including a LaFerrari and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT.

Apparently, the Mansory Edition Cullinan had been in the garage getting fitted with full PPF protection.

Nicknamed the ‘Mansory Linea D’Oro’, the one-of-one Cullinan boasts 24-carat gold leaf finishes all over the vehicle and additional gold leaf plated interior trims.

What really makes it stand out, though, is its special fade paint finish in bright turquoise to dark shadow black.

Finishing things off nicely, the luxury SUV sits on a set of 24-inch Mansory FD.15 forged rims.

Under the hood of a Cullinan is a twin-turbo 6.7-liter V12 producing 563 horsepower.

But the German tuner’s worked its magic on the Mansory Edition Cullinan, as it puts out over 600 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque.

So, not only does it look awesome, it goes like an absolute rocket, too.

Not that you’d really be able to test its potential, when it’s wearing such a memorable license plate.
