This is the new Donkervoort F22 and it’s a super lightweight, super fun road-going beast.
With the brand-new F22, the Dutch marque says it’s destroying the modern supercar rulebook.
For starters, it breaks the 2g barrier with a claimed 2.15g of lateral acceleration.
Weighing just 750 kg (1653 lbs) and producing 500 hp, the rear-drive F22 delivers a crazy power-to-weight ratio of 666 hp per tonne.
Let’s get straight into it.
The F22 can go from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 2.5 seconds.

It can reach 200km/h (124mph) in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 290km/h (180mph).
Donkervoort says it chose to avoid adding the extra weight of a hybrid or electric powertrain.
In fact, when designing this supercar, almost every decision was made with weight in mind.
The long, narrow chassis wears a super lightweight carbon fiber body with aggressive-looking cuts running down the side
At the front, it has a huge air intake and at the back, a massive rear diffuser.
And most notably, it has a removable carbon fiber roof – giving its driver the best of both worlds.
The supercar is four meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.1 meters high – making it longer, wider and taller than its predecessor.
And while it may resemble the D8 GTO, the two cars don’t share a single nut, bolt or body panel.
Donkervoort says the F22 was “the most driver-focused supercar money can buy”.
It says buyers can customize the car within an inch of its life – from the steering system to the air conditioning and the exterior paint work.
Donkervoort initially said it would produce 50 units of the F22 but it has now commited to a production run of 75 units.
Donkervoort F22 price
The F22 is priced at roughly $260,000 USD.
The F22 is actually named after CEO Denis Donkervoort’s first daughter, Filippa who was born on May 22 this year.
