This is the Supermarine MM01, the world’s first hyper-jet, and it’s made entirely out of carbon fibre.
Made in France by a company called Bouvet Frères Marine, it’s limited to 30 units only, 15 in black and 15 in mother-of-pearl white.
The engineers who designed it said it was “to a jet ski what a hypercar is to a car”.

Under the bonnet – pardon me I mean ‘hull’ – you’ll find a 220 kW (300 hp) electric motor, giving it an impressive top speed of 75 mph.
Germain Bouvet and Léopold Bouvet – the two brothers who designed it – started out with a single block of clay, which they then proceded to shape by hand to get the angles, curves and lines just right.
The resulting prototype was covered with layers of carbon and Kevlar, giving it the torsional strength it needed, while keeping the weight down.
Mind you, this is a luxury product, there’s no doubt about that, which is why they’ve also lined the storage trunk with leather and added a champagne holder under the saddle, just in case.

The company said each hyper-jet would take more than 500 man-hours to build.
While it hasn’t said anything about pricing yet, the company did say it was prioritising “creativity over profitability”.
It’s the hypercar of jet skis, so it’s only fair to expect a hypercar level price tag.
