We all know NASA is a space agency but it also has one of the strongest and most recognizable brands in the world.

For that reason, several watch companies have teamed up with NASA to launch branded timepieces.

Some of them are expensive but some of them aren’t: let’s have a look at three NASA-branded watches that won’t break the bank.

3. Swatch x NASA Space Collection

Swiss watch giant Swatch partnered up with NASA to create five timepieces with prices ranging from $90 to $175.

From the ‘Extravehicular’ to the ‘Take Me To The Moon’, the names of these pieces reflect the playful nature of the Swatch watch company.

After all, three of these pieces are based on the company’s best-seller, which is aptly called ‘Big Bold’.

All five pieces are powered by batteries and made from Bioceramic, a light and durable material that Swatch invented and patented.

If we had to pick, we’d go for the blue ‘Jumpsuit’.

3. NASA x G-Shock

Casio has produced a variety of G-Shock models using the NASA logo.

For example, there’s the All Systems Go, designed by G-Shock to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first space shuttle launch.

And then there’s the G-Shock x NASA in off-white.

But if we had to pick one, we’d go for the orange one inspired by the space suit of the same color.

This color is actually known as ‘International Orange’ in the aerospace industry.

It is a tribute to the original Advanced Crew Escape Suit that NASA introduced in the 1980s.

Some people call them the ‘pumpkin suits’.

It’s easy to see why.

1. NASA x Interstellar

Officially known as the ‘Red 3.721’, Interstellar says this is the only watch with integrated Mars meteorites on the dial.

It certainly looks the part.

There are several models available.

The cheapest one will set you back $399.

Meanwhile, the range-topping Titanium, Swiss-powered model costs around $900.

It should be noted that this watch is part of a [successful] crowdfunding campaign.

The company says deliveries of the watch are expected for March 2023.

Honorable Mention: Kojima Productions x NASA x Anicorn

This is an awesome-looking watch but we felt it wouldn’t be right to include in the list because it’s not cheap: it costs $940.

The watch was designed by Anicorn Watches in partnership with NASA and Kojima Productions, the video game developer that gave us Metal Gear Solid.

Production is limited to 500 watches.

However, an additional batch of 100 watches – priced at $1,540 – will be offered along with wearable, Metal Gear Solid-themed carbon fiber mask.

We desperately want one.
