A strange Dodge Challenger appeared on Facebook Marketplace and – quite rightly – got plenty of attention.
The Charger has no body panels and instead comes with a tube frame built all around it.
It certainly is a unique car with a frame that looks like an exoskeleton.

Exoskeleton Dodge Challenger
The owner of this 2009 Dodge Challenger had all the car panels removed and replaced them with a cage earlier this year.
Although we have seen many weird and rare contraptions on Facebook Marketplace, this one is definitely something special.
The car belongs to Glenn Deakins, who listed it on Facebook and got plenty of attention for it.
Although one may initially think that the cage is just a bullbar, however, it goes around the entire car.
Of course, there’s also the fact that the car broadly exposes all internals.
The only things left are the lights, hood scoop, and wheels.
Explaining this bizarre contraption
This 2009 Dodge Challenger is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine, taken from another 2018 Challenger.
The V6 engine should produce 305 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque.
It also has an eight-speed automatic transmission sourced from the same 2018 Challenger.
However, the electrical system and the dashboard are from a 2019 Challenger.
This car is definitely an over-the-top custom Dodge Challenger with parts from several different eras.
In terms of mileage, the used car has 78,000 miles on the clock.
However, it has also been updated with power mirrors, a reverse camera, and a navigation system.
It even comes with subwoofers installed at the back of the car.
Despite its strange design, the used car is completely street-legal and seems to be in fairly good condition.
