Abandoned F1 car restored back to its former glory

A car enthusiast and content creator has breathed life back into an abandoned F1 car.

And the transformation is virtually car ASMR – it’s so satisfying to watch.

Frédéric Laneshoa found nine abandoned F1 cars and we get to see how they get the decaying cars back on the road.

Not unlike this Audi R8 left abandoned and rotting for five years that got a heroic restoration.

From a power wash, to a complete rebuild and a brand new 600hp twin-turbo V8 engine – this car never looked so good.

The replicas of the real thing used for movies look as good as they did 30 years ago, when Fred’s tearing down the freeway to grabbing a bite to eat.
