Apple unveiled its long-awaited, hotly-anticipated AR (Augmented Reality) headset, dubbed ‘Apple Vision Pro’.

The company’s CEO Tim Cook said they spent over seven years developing the headset.

“This is the first Apple product you look through, and not at,” said Cook.

The first thing you notice is Apple Vision Pro looks completely different to any other VR or AR headset on the market.

You can probably head to your favorite ski resort in Colorado or the Alps and you’ll see people wear ski goggle that look like Apple’s headset.

We’ll leave it up to you to decide whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

The whole point of the headset is to help you mix reality with virtual reality, looking through the screen.

When you wear it, you’ll be able to interact with iOS apps and superimpose virtual objects in the world around you.

For example, you can use it to relive a moment via AR, using pictures and videos you took at a specific location in the past.

Obviously, you can also use it for entertainment, like watching movies and playing games.

The headset will also allow you to make the screen as big as you want, up to 100 feet wide.

One of the coolest features is the ability to FaceTime people and show a life-size projection of the person you’re talking to.

This is made possible by the headset’s 3D camera and Apple’s Spatial Audio, designed to make people look and sound like they’re right next to you.

Apple Vision Pro features a total of 12 cameras, five sensors and microphones.

The headset will probably help you see the inevitable elephant in the room a bit more clearly, ie its price tag.

At $3,499, Apple Vision Pro is significantly more expensive than any of its rivals, including Meta’s Quest, which only costs $499.

To put things into perspective, you can buy nearly five iPhone 14s ($799) for that price, or six iPhone 13s ($699).

if you’re thinking that’s insane, don’t worry, you’re not alone.
