This is the new Audemars Piguet Spider-Man Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon, the latest Marvel-themed timepiece unveiled by the Swiss brand.

It’s a crazy watch with an insane price tag: it costs roughly the same as a brand-new Aston Martin Vantage roadster.

The new Spider-Man tourbillon watch is a ‘sequel’ to the to the Black Panther concept timepiece unveiled about two years ago.

Audemars Piguet made headlines with this quirky timekeeper and even though many watch fans loved to hate it, the timepiece became an instant classic and best-seller.

The new Spider-Man watch, dubbed Royal Oak Concept Spider-Man Tourbillon, follows the same exact idea using a different, arguably even more popular Marvel character.

This is an ongoing partnership, by the way, so more AP x Marvel timepieces may be on their own way in the near future.

The dial is adorned with a hand-painted, hand-sculpted 3D Spider-Man figurine with the iconic red and blue suit.

The signature octagonal case is finished in titanium, while the bezel is made from black ceramic and fitted with titanium screws.

The dial of the watch is skeletonized, meaning you can see right through it and admire the movement that powers it.

Production is limited to 250 pieces, and just like any other AP, it’ll sell out pretty quickly despite the eye-watering price tag.

Speaking of which, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Spider-Man retails for $195,000.

Even so, collectors will flock to AP authorized dealers because, as crazy as it sounds, this may be a good investment.

The Black Panther watch that preceded it was priced at $150,000 and it now resells for $450,000 and upwards in the secondary market.

We can totally see the Spider-Man trading at half a million or more a year from now.
