This is the NSX Type S, Acura’s most powerful production car yet.

Limited to just 350 units, the Type S is a hand-built masterpiece.

Not only is it powerful, producing 600 hp, but it’s also been fitted with race-spec twin turbos, so you’ll hear it long before you see it.

Building on its racing lineage, the Acura NSX Type S combines an aggressive design with aerodynamic components to create more downforce and keep you glued to the road.

It’s a twin-turbo V6 that can go from 0-60 mph in around three seconds.

That means it can keep up with supercars that are five times the cost.

Acura’s given it a makeover too, with a new carbon fiber front lip, side skirts, and spoiler.

It’s also been given an all-new performance 5-spoke wheel design.

It also has 19-inch rims at the front and 20-inch rims at the back, giving it a forward-leaning, aggressive appearance.

The NSX is also extremely light.

It has a carbon fiber roof which not only makes it more lightweight, but it also lowers the car’s center of gravity.

And lending to its sports car identity, the NSX engine and carbon cover is exposed at the back.

Inside, you’ll find leather upholstery for the center console and steering wheel, and Alcantara inserts for the dashboard.

The same combo of leather and Alcantara is used for the seats.

The cabin is comfortable and practical, but it’s also a bit clunky and basic.

You’d expect a bit more from a sportscar in this price category.

Speaking of which, pricing for the NSX starts at around $170,000 but jumps up to 185,000 with upgrades.

The Type S is a special final edition as the company plans to discontinue the NSX after the 2022 model year.
