A man has revealed what it’s like to live inside Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, which holds the title of the world’s tallest building.

Measuring a mind blowing 828 meters (2,717 ft) the Burj Khalifa was unveiled back in 2010 and earned itself a spot in the history books as the world’s tallest building – a title it has held onto ever since.

The building, which is around three times as tall as the Eiffel Tower, actually holds a bunch of titles including the tallest structure ever built, the tallest skyscraper, and the tallest freestanding structure.

It also has the fastest elevator in the world

What’s it actually like to live in the world’s tallest building?

And if you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually like to be in there – so high up – then YouTuber Ben Morris has got your back.

He visited his friend Mohammed Al Safar, who happens to live in ‘one of the biggest apartments that you can actually get in the Burj Khalifa at one of the highest floors.’

Giving a tour of the impressive pad, Mohamed reveals it has four bedrooms – although there is technically another including the ‘maid’s room’.

Of course, if you’re living in such a swanky place then you want to make sure it’s kitted out in a similar fancy fashion.

So, you won’t see any flat-pack Ikea furniture here – instead, Mohamed has opted for a Louis Vuitton bench and a specially-made desk crafted from the wing of a plane. See, we told you it was fancy.

He also has a genuinely staggering amount of sneakers.

But while Mohamed has done a tremendous job of getting the apartment looking beautiful inside, it’s still no match for the stunning views outside.

Looking out of his windows, Mohamed is able to see the Dubai Mall, which is super close to the Burj Khalifa.

While from his dining room table he can see the World Islands.

How much does it cost to live in Burj Khalifa?

As you’d expect from such an apartment, it comes with plenty of perks including onsite swimming pools and your own exclusive entrance to the Dubai Mall, which is accessed via an air-conditioned walkway.

So, how much did the high-end digs cost in the high-rise building? Well, Mohamed reveals that he parted with a cool $8.8 million (£7 million).

And he also said that he actually managed to get a pretty good deal as prices were previously even higher.

Oh and that’s not all he has to pay – the beautiful apartment also comes with a yearly service fee that is based on the size of the property.

In Mohamed’s case, this means he has to cough-up an additional $126,866 (£100,000) every year.

Oh well, we can dream, can’t we?
